Description
Duties and Responsibilities: As a Principal in CACIs growing Business System Solutions (BSS) organization the desired candidate will provide dynamic business process, business process re-engineering, and change management consulting within CACIs Oracle Business Applications practice supporting a key Department of Defense Federal Financial Management project.
- As a key client facing representative, works to support a collaborative team environment which promotes staff, sub-contractor, and client partnerships to meet common goals and shared program objectives.
- As an experienced consulting professional, advances a business model that endorses the highest level of professional ethics and client affiliations built with trust, integrity, and mutual respect.
- As a senior Federal Financials domain expert, optimizes client business systems and cross functional application solutions to meet challenging business, interoperability, and deployment requirements in a Federal DoD environment.
- As a seasoned Oracle 11i business applications expert, provides hands-on client support for two or more of the following: Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, Order to Fulfill, Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, or Time and Labor business process areas including support for the design, testing, and implementation of agency-specific RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, and Extensions) items.
- As a change practitioner, collaborates with agency process owners to analyze business requirements and assist customers as they transition from legacy processes to Oracle 11i based solutions including planning, execution, and support of agency cutover activities into Production.
- Senior level business transformation professional with demonstrated track record implementing selected process areas across multiple successful Oracle ERP enabled projects in a Federal environment (DoD strongly preferred).
- Deep Federal Financial Management domain knowledge with hands-on full life-cycle implementation experience for two or more of the following Oracle 11i business areas: Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, Order to Fulfill, Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, and/or Time and Labor.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices and exposure to multiple project management methodologies and tools including direct hands-on experience with Oracle AIM Methodology and approach including thorough knowledge of BR.100, MD.050, TE.020, TE.040, and TE.120 documentation.
- Experience in the development and execution of SQL-based scripts to support functional and technical trouble shooting and independently develop basic reports and queries.
- Experience aligning legacy jobs and responsibilities to Oracle responsibilities.
- Experience in deploying reports using Oracle OBIEE and Noetix.
- Strong understanding of DoD related and required compliance issues including key Federal/Public Sector/DoD internal controls.
- Superior written and oral communication skills are required.
- Current Secret Clearance or ability to attain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelors degree in related field and 10-12 years of related experience. A masters degree in systems engineering or business management is a plus but not required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is desired but not required.

- Senior level business transformation professional with demonstrated track record implementing multiple successful Oracle ERP enabled projects with departmental or agency level scope and complexity in a Federal environment (DoD strongly preferred).
- Deep Federal Financial Management domain knowledge with full life-cycle implementation experience across the spectrum of Oracle 11i modules including Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, Order to Fulfill, Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, and/or Time and Labor business areas.
- 10-12 years experience managing large, complex projects utilizing a cross-functional team to accomplish stated transformation objectives including business requirements analysis, process re-engineering, data conversion and migration, change management and workforce readiness, training and curriculum development, deployment planning, and end-user support.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective and collaborative teams with diverse constituents including staff, sub-contractors, other contractors, and government personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to influence decisions and project direction at the executive level with a collaborative goal-oriented posture.
- Superior written and oral communication skills with a focus on delivering executive level presentations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry best practices and exposure to multiple project management methodologies and tools.
- Current Secret Clearance or ability to attain a Secret Security Clearance.
