Description

Northrop Grumman Information Systems is seeking a Contracts Manager who will assist in the contract management of the identity management line of business. This candidate will be a direct report to Director of Contracts for the APS Business Unit and will work closely with the program team. Other responsibilities include preparation, negotiation, acceptance and management of the prime contract, which includes time and materials, firm-fixed price, and cost reimbursement contract issues. Experience in international contracting strongly desired. Assists in the cost estimating, pricing and proposal efforts. Provides in-depth knowledge of applicable government regulations, international procurements and export compliance. Reviews and approves contractual documents for protection of companys contractual posture, satisfaction of customer specifications and requirements and adherence to company policy. Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions. In addition, regular interface is required with aspects of the technical and operations organizations. Provides guidance and direction to project management and peers using established policies and procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and efficiency. Majority of liaison is on internal basis with subordinates and supervisors at equivalent level or one level higher. Liaison normally involves specific phase of a project or operation. May require frequent interface with the customer and closure on matters with guidance from the Program Managers and/or from the Director of Contracts. Monitors daily operations of the program and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures and schedules. Bachelors degree in Business or related field required. Current security clearance required. Ability to travel required. 13-15 years work experience and a Bachelors in Business Admin or Law; experience in lieu of degree may be substituted. Additionally, this position will require 5-10 yrs management experience and 10 yrs of Contracts experience Security Clearance Required.
